Rosedale is 18 km south by road from Batemans Bay. Its lack of shops and clubs, along with rocky headlands and surf beaches, make it a weekend treat. Be wary, the main unpatrolled surf beach is famed for rips and shifting sand bars. The creek through town offers bird habitat. This Large Egret Egretta alba was accompanied by a White Faced Heron Ardea novaehollaniae. |
